Wheelchair access may be gained to all of the ground floor in the main lodge, which includes a double bedroom with an adjacent disabled toilet and shower.

We know your four-legged friends enjoy an adventure as much as you do (maybe even more). So they're welcome to join you onsite and in some private rooms. The only space they're not allowed to go in, is in our 'Heilan Hut'.
We also have a gated field for any runaways.

As of March 2019 the WiFi speed has been increased by BT so now actually works!

Under new management we are looking into new ways of looking after bikes and other bits of your kit. So you can relax and not have to worry!

The Steadings is located just 100 yards from the Lodge, and includes 3 bedrooms with en-suite facilities – all located on the ground floor.

Yes! We have a large car park next to the lodge, so your vehicle will be safely tucked away.

We have a large well-equipped self catering kitchen – available for use by all Lodge guests – equipped with stainless steel work benches and sinks, gas/electric cookers, microwaves and large Fridges. Freezer space is also available and boxes are provided for storage of other foods.
There is a second smaller kitchen also available for guests, although either kitchen could be reserved for groups if we have any staying (at least 1 kitchen is always available for general use).
Our self service breakfast of cereals, toast & preserves, fruit juices and fresh coffee & tea is available for all guests from 8am until 9.30am.

There is a large drying room just beside the back door – ensuring you can at least start the day with dry clothes.
We also have a washing machine, outdoor clothes line & tumble drier available for guest use (£3 charge per machine)

Apart from a £20 booking fee your reservation can be cancelled with no charge if changes to your plans are forced by Covid-19 related issues (check the T&C’s).

Towels are provided for those staying in Private rooms, the Steadings, Cottage and Shepherd's Huts. For Hostel rooms the towels are available to hire.
